1, Royal (Gong Ting): Fine buds, delicate mouthfeel;

Royal grade is the most tender grade, consisting almost entirely of buds.

2, 1st Grade: A balance of tenderness and mellow;

Still quite tender, but more larger leaves than Royal.

3, 3rd Grade: Full-bodied, ideal for daily drinking.

The strips are somewhat tightly twisted and may include a few tender stems.
